Although there are other ways to meet online, hands down Filipino dating sites are still the best online places to go to if you're serious about finding a Filipino woman to be your wife or girlfriend.
However, just because you can find plenty of women, it doesn't mean you will automatically find a girlfriend the moment you sign up.

1. Check the map of the Philippines
Take note that the Philippines is an archipelago composed of 7,107 islands (7,108 in the low tide). The Filipino woman you're talking to could come from any of the major islands except, of course, for that one that submerges during high tide.
You don't want to be talking to women who live in different islands because it would be a logistical nightmare simply to meet women on a single trip to the Philippines. For example, if you're meeting someone from Cebu, Davao and Manila, be prepared to hop planes from one place to another or, if you're on a budget, to hop from boat to boat.
So, go ahead and check a map of the Philippines as you check profiles.
2. Check pictures but don't judge a woman by her picture
Go ahead and check profiles and pictures of as many women as you like. However, do not judge a woman by her picture. Just because a woman doesn't look so good in her profile doesn't mean she looks that bad in person. On the contrary, there are women who actually look better in person. On the other hand, if a picture looks too "photo studio perfect", be careful, because there's a chance the woman you're talking to is a scammer or worse, not a woman at all, and the picture is that of a Filipino actress.
3. Prepare a letter template
Online dating is basically a numbers game, and your success largely depends on how many women you contact especially in the beginning. Within the first few days of using a Filipino dating website, make a point to contact at least ten women per day. That will certainly widen your net of prospects. Writing one custom letter after another is bothersome, unless if you love writing. Write a letter template to customize it to include the name of the Filipino woman you're sending it to.
