There is no question about it. Making the approach is one of the most difficult aspects of trying to get dates with women. For most guys, they just cannot seem to get themselves to make the approach for anything. If you have ever seen a woman you really wanted to speak to and you found yourself almost paralyzed with uncertainty about walking on over to her, keep reading. When most men DO actually make the approach, they set themselves up for failure by saying all of the WRONG things.
You don't want that to happen to you. Not when it takes so much just to get yourself to walk on over to a woman. You don't want to blow it by letting the wrong words come out of your mouth. She could be totally attracted to you, but if you say the wrong things to her, you pretty much have no chance at all.
What are some things that you should NOT say to a woman when you approach her?
1. Do NOT say that you want to buy her a drink.
This is probably the most generic line that any guy can use. It's the one that you see being used in movies and television shows all of the time. And it is supposed to work. Problem is, most of the time all it will work for is for the woman getting a free drink and nothing more than that. This kind of line ends up setting you up as the typical guy in a bar and does absolutely NOTHING to make her see you as a guy she wants to date.
2. Do NOT say that she must have fell from heaven because she is an angel.
Talk about cheesy, right? A line like this when you approach a woman kind of shows that you have little experience or that you just have no game at all. Use this kind of an opener on a woman you have approached and you might as well reserve a place for one back at home, because she is not going to be joining you.
3. Do NOT try to brag about what you do for a living.
This is important for two reasons. One, no one likes to be approached by someone they don't know and then hear them brag about themselves. Two, if you DO have a good job, this kind of an approach sets you up to be taken advantage of by a "gold digger." Tell her that you have a really good job and that will turn on the lights in her head and make her think that you are definitely RIPE to be taken advantage of. About the Author
